Before: the footwear differed
An illustration made for these notes gave AMATO black ankle-covering shoes, although the official front, side, and back character views show wooden sandals.
After: refer back to the design
The new still was created using the official character sheet and specifying wooden sandals. The camera angle changed as well, so this is not an experiment that varies only the footwear. Check the sandals touching the stone path and the path leading to the closed gate.
Do not confuse perspective with height
AMATO is defined as 140 cm tall. Because he is near the camera and the gate is far away, pixel height in this image cannot establish his real-world height. Compare his youthful proportions to the character sheet instead.
