One character, many views

Animation shows a person from the front, side, back, and at different distances. A matching front-facing portrait does not ensure the next shot still reads as the same person. Prepare front, side, back, and expression references.

Check proportions and clothing

AMATO is a 140 cm boy. Compare his red hair, amber eyes, jawline, head-to-body ratio, red kimono, black robe and sash, and wooden sandals. Match a side shot against a side reference and a back shot against the rear view.

Inspect hands and adjacent cuts

Follow the arm, wrist, palm, and thumb to check the connection. Five fingers need not all be visible when a hand is closed or partly hidden. If repeated edits damage the form, return to the official reference and redraw. Put candidate frames beside neighboring cuts to check continuity.
